清朗之夜，万籁俱寂。年幼的烟囱清洁工沉沉进入梦乡。梦里他来到一片未知的土地，遇见一位仙女。仙女将他肮脏破烂的衣服换乘华贵结晶国王礼服，即而将其迎上宝座。大臣环立左右，宫女绅士翩翩起舞，好一派歌舞升平。歌舞过后，侍者抬来床铺，清洁工缓缓入睡。醒来却发现，自己仍在简陋的房间里。 苛刻的老板大声呵斥，清洁工不情愿地起身爬进长长的烟囱里，却在凹槽里发现一个藏宝盒。主人逼迫他交出宝盒，几番厮打，清洁工携宝盒夺路而逃，后面一群人紧追不舍……
